English Plus Registration | Spring 2026

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Our English program is more than just English – it is a place where you can meet new friends, enjoy lessons and conversations with English-speaking teachers and volunteers, and become more confident in your day-to-day living in this beautiful city of Vancouver.  

You will gain new skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Sometimes special events and field trips are offered. As part of our class time, we will do many of the following: read the Bible, learn a poem, learn the lyrics and music to a song, learn about seasonal celebrations, and more. We want to share our language and culture with you!  

• Assessment:  If you are a student returning to the same level, no English Assessment test is required.  You may register online.    If you are either a new student or a returning student who would like to move to a higher level class, you must complete an English Assessment test (in-person) prior to registering.  Please contact susanrobertson@granvillechapel.com to set up an appointment for the English Assessment test. 

We have two levels of classes:

Intermediate Level Class:

• Fee: $55 per term
• Book fee: $55 (one-time fee)

Beginner Level Class:

• Fee: $25 per term
• Book fee: $55 (one-time fee)

*Students may register for either the Beginner or Intermediate Level Class.

Bonus Classes:

• Bible Class 
• Table Topics (Conversation Circle) 
• Pronunciation Plus Class

*For students registered in one of our classes

SCHEDULE 

Wednesday:

• Intermediate Level Class  - 9:30am - 11:30am
• "Pronunciation Plus" Class  - 11:45am - 12:30pm
• Beginner Level Class  - 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Thursday: 

• Intermediate Level Class  - 9:30am - 11:30am
• Table Topics Class (Conversation Circle) -  11:30am - 12:30pm  
• Beginner Level Class  - 1:00 pm - 2:00pm
• BIBLE CLASS - 12:30-2:00 pm
